New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu shared an 81-run stand but Sunrisers Hyderabad did well to restrict Chennai Super Kings to 167 for 6 in an Indian Premier League match here on Tuesday. Watson's 42 off 38 balls was studded with one four and three maximums, while Rayudu's hit three boundaries and two sixes in his 34-ball 41-run knock.

Jadeja (25 not out) and Dhoni (21 off 13 balls) played quick cameos smashing a total of five fours and two sixes between them in a stand of 32 in just 2.4 overs. SRH bowlers did a commendable job, claiming four wickets for 47 runs in the last six overs. Sandeep Sharma (2/19), Khaleel Ahmed (2/45) and T Natarajan (2/41) picked two wickets apiece.

After 15 overs, the SRH is 107/4 with Kane Williamson still batting at 41 runs along with Vijay Shankar, who came to bat after Priyam Garg dismissal for 16. Apart from Williamson, Jonny Bairstow scored 23 for the Hyderabad in their chase of 168 runs set by Chennai Super Kings. For CSK, Jadeja, Curran and Karn Sharma took one wicket each.

After the end of allotted 20 overs, Chennai Super Kings scored 167 runs with the loss of 6 wickets. Shane Watson, 42, is the highest run-scorer for Chennai in today's match. However, Ravindra Jadeja's 10-ball 25 helped the CSK in setting up a decent 168-run target for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. For SRH, three of their pacers, including Natrajan, Khaleel Ahmed and Sandeep Sharma clinched two wickets each.  

After 16.1 overs, Chennai Super Kings are four down at the score of 121. Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu made 42 and 41 respectively to revive Chennai Super Kings' innings after two early blows. 

After 9 overs, Chennai Super Kings are at 64 with the loss two wickets. Both the openers, Faf du Plessis and Sam Curran returned to the dugouts after Sandeep Sharma removed both in his first spell. However, Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu have come to the rescue of the team and has stabled their innings since then.

Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first. 

The decision will give more confidence to Chennai Super Kings, considering the previous results here at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Four, of the five matches, played here were won by the teams who batted first. The CSK batsmen should eye a big total, nearly 190-200 runs, to give their bowlers more room and less pressure. 

The toss for CSK vs SRH will be held at 7:00 pm.
