‘Scarily bad’: $146m star sent off after nightmare 31-minute stint
Maguire was handed a chance for redemption after being dropped from the England side amid his court course in Greece.
Gareth Southgate decided to give him another chance and started the 27-year old against Denmark but nothing went to plan for Maguire.

Maguire SENT for England1:04
Maguire escaped with a booking for a late lunge at Yussuf Poulsen which drew immediate criticism from Gary Neville in commentary.
“He’s lucky because they’re the ones that break legs,” he said on Sky Sports.
Another poor challenge and bookable offence on Kasper Dolberg in the 31st minute saw Maguire sent off the field with a red card.
“It sums up his last four to six weeks, terrible time for him,” Neville added.
“I thought he was lucky with the first challenge, that one is just scruffy play.”

Jamie Redknapp leapt to the defence of Maguire given his stresses away from the field.
“He’s going through a really tough time in his life,” he said.
“You can genuinely see he’s really struggling with his game at the moment.
“He is having a moment, he is low on confidence, there is a lot going on in his life and we sometimes forget that”
Former Premier League striker Chris Sutton was also quick in commentary on BBC Radio 5 live to sum up how the carding was reflective of Maguire’s season as a whole.
“It’s been a horrible start to the season for Harry Maguire,” Sutton said.
“He put himself under pressure with the early challenge and he just let the ball get away with him.
“He went to ground again, and that’s the issue, you always give the referee a decision to make.
“England have been dominant and controlled the game position wise and now they are a man down.
“It’s a poor first touch from Maguire and Kasper Dolberg is onto him.
“He does get the ball but his follow through gets Dolberg.
“You could say he’s a bit unfortunate but I don’t think you can argue that it is a second yellow.”
The reaction on social media was just as harsh as fans pointed out the fact Manchester United had spent $146m on snaring him from Leicester.
Harry Maguire's performance genuinely one of the worst I've seen in an England shirt. Scarily bad. Excellent for Leicester, adequate for Man Utd last season, beyond awful so far this season. Looks totally frazzled by whatever happened in Mikonos. Needs a break.— Oliver Kay (@OliverKay) October 14, 2020
Leicester getting £80m for Harry Maguire has to be the biggest daylight robbery in the history of this game.— Mod (@CFCMod_) October 14, 2020
Don't be too happy Man Utd fans. Harry Maguire's red card for England doesn't mean he will be suspended for the next 3 Premier League games. He will only miss the 3 next games for England.— Troll Football (@TrollFootball) October 14, 2020
