It’s alleged that police were called to reports of a disturbance at Gilmore College in Orelia around 10.50 am on Wednesday.
Police allege the suspect stabbed the victim, a 17-year-old boy, with a small kitchen knife.
The victim was taken to Royal Perth Hospital and is in a stable condition.
The 14-year-old boy from Calista has been charged with one count of unlawful wounding and is due to face court on November 4.

The school’s principal emailed parents about the incident.
“I am writing to inform you of a serious incident involving two students that has occurred in our school, this morning (October 14),” the email reads.
“At this early stage, only minimal details are available but what I can tell you is that one of our students has been taken to hospital and police are on site.
“I can assure you that all other students and staff are safe and we will be putting in place support for any students who need it.”
The school also sent a series of text messages to parents after the incident.
