As soon as it happened, you just knew it would take over the internet.

President Joe Biden, while boarding Air Force One on Friday, lost his footing - a couple of times - and fell on the steps, resulting in the the 78-year-old president of the United States tripping multiple times.

Biden grabbed the railing only to trip again before dropping to his knee.

White House principal deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the president was doing fine following the incident.

“I can tell you he’s doing fine, he’s preparing for the trip today, and he’s doing just great,” Jean-Pierre told reporters.

As you saw, he composed himself and snapped off a salute before entering Air Force One.

The president’s journey up the stairs quickly started a firestorm of internet memes as you might expect.
