The new tattoo, tweeted out by writer Caspar Salmon on Tuesday, is prominently displayed on the outside of Kyrgios’ left leg and has the following quote:

“Give a man a mas and he will become his true self”’.

A quick scroll through the tennis star’s Instagram feed shows the tattoo being on his leg when he played in Stuttgart.

The saying comes from The Dark Knight and was said by The Joker, portrayed by Heath Ledger.

The tattoo becomes the latest in a long line for Kyrgios, who showcased his right arm sleeve with a tribute to basketball. It featured a tribute to Kobe Bryant alongside LeBron James and an ode to Michael Jordan’s nikes.

As the tennis worlds attention shifts to the upcoming Wimbledon Grand Slam, Kyrgios has found himself embroiled in drama with fellow Davis Cup teammate Bernard Tomic.

The two traded barbs on social media with Kyrgios labelling Tomic “the most hated athlete in Australia”.

Things took a turn after Tomic challenged Kyrgios to a million-dollar boxing fight or one-off tennis match.

The ugly back and forth between the pair became the latest chapter in the longstanding feud between the two.
