How to watch Man City vs West Brom free on Amazon Prime; Aguero on the bench

Free next-day deliveries, Man City vs West Brom and football throughout December

Sergio Aguero won't be firing Manchester City up the table unless he does do off the bench. Jesus starts instead. As for West Brom, it's another opportunity to get out of the dreaded bottom three. With just one win so far, though, a trip to the Etihad may not have been the one Slavan Bilic has earmarked as a three-pointer. Make sure you know how to watch Man City vs West Brom for free on Amazon Prime.

Sergio Aguero missed the game at Old Trafford through illness and has recovered enough to make the bench but not to start the game. Their star man would be a huge boost over the festive period if he can get match fit once more. Defender Eric Garcia remains out as does Oleksander Zinchenko.

For West Brom and Bilic, things are getting desperate. A loss would mean equalling the Baggies' worst ever record in the Premier League over the first 13 games, and it's hard to see much else happening here. West Brom have never won at the Etihad and not beaten City in the league for eight years.

While defeat in one of the hardest fixtures on paper would be unfair to cause Bilic to lose his job, it's not out of the realms of possibility. The pressure is mounting on the Croat coach. It wouldn't be the best memento of his 100th game in charge as a Premier League manager.

The match kicks off at 8pm on Amazon Prime. Make sure you know how to watch a Man City vs West Brom live stream wherever you are.

That said, if all you want is a month of football, next-day deliveries for Christmas shopping while you get the presents in and no strings attached, then, yes, it's very easy to cancel when the final whistle has gone. UK Amazon Prime subscribers who are abroad, and wish to stream the Premier League on Prime Video, will find themselves blocked unless they use a VPN. It's only in the UK that Amazon holds the rights for these fixtures, so trying to access from elsewhere in the world will not work.

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) helps you get around this obstacle. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, such that the servers and services you’re accessing aren’t aware of what you’re doing. All the information passing back and forth is entirely encrypted.

There are many VPN providers out there, with some more reliable and safe than others. As a rule, we’d suggest a paid-for service such as ExpressVPN or NordVPN.

NordVPN 3 months free + 30 day money-back guaranteeYou can get three months free when you sign up to a year-long plan, bringing VPN access to smart devices including the Amazon Fire TV Stick, laptops, TVs and both Android and iOS mobiles and tablets. Express also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.View Deal

Once you’ve made your choice, all you need to do is sign in to your VPN service through whichever device you’d like to use to watch the match. When prompted to select a server, you need to pick one which is based in the country whose content you’d like to access. Then navigate to the relevant video streaming app or website and you’re in.
