AFL WAG Nadia Bartel 'spotted' with Jimmy's ex-teammate Josh Caddy

It's almost been two years since she announced her devastating split from AFL star husband Jimmy Bartel. 

And on Sunday, Nadia Bartel sent the rumour mill into overdrive after her ex husband's former teammate, footy star Josh Caddy, was reportedly seen leaving her home in Melbourne.  

Photographers saw the 28-year-old Richmond player leaving 36-year-old Nadia's $3.15million inner-city pad in the early hours of the morning, The Herald Sun reported on Sunday.

Nadia and Josh are understood to have formed an unlikely friendship over the past few months, having reportedly caught up several times in private. 

A source has since denied rumours of romantic connection, telling the publication, 'They're just friends,' and that they simply 'enjoy each other's company'.

Josh and Nadia are understood to have previously crossed paths eight years ago -  when Josh was playing for Geelong with Nadia's then-husband Jimmy.

Once considered a glamour couple of the AFL, Jimmy and Nadia announced their separation in August 2019, but it's believed they actually split two months prior.  

Nadia moved into her bachelorette pad in November, four months after selling her $4million marital house in St Kilda West. 

According to public records, the former couple paid $3.76million for the house in 2017, meaning they made a small profit on its recent sale.

The Brownlow Medal winner subsequently went public with new girlfriend Lauren Mand, a Melbourne socialite and office worker.

Nadia was linked to personal trainer Nathan Brodie last year, but it's unclear if they are still together.

In late April, Nadia shared a cryptic Instagram post about personal growth and 'forgetting the past'.
