Both Labor leader Chris Minns and Premier Dominic Perrottet were out in various electorates yesterday spruiking their policies and promises before voters head to the polls today for the final say.

Minns hit the Sydney markets early before talking up his domestic manufacturing policy in the city's west.

"Labor has a positive plan to fix this state with a fresh start," he said.

"The question voters have to ask themselves is after 12 years in office if they (Liberals) still haven't fixed the problems in this state what makes you think it will change if they're re-elected on Saturday."

Minns talked about focusing like a "laser beam" on cost of living issues through Labor's policy to introduce a $60 toll cap, $315 energy rebates for small businesses and driving down energy prices for residents.

He also talked about retaining essential workers both in education, healthcare and justice and ending the potential privatisation of services like Sydney Water.

"I'm confident the people of NSW want change that they're sick of the same policies of the same policies that have been enacted over the past 12 years but especially in the last four," he said.

Minns said the election race will be a tight contest but he has faith in NSW residents to vote for change.

In a sign the teal threat is real, Perrottet started on the North Shore in supposedly blue ribbon seats before heading to Western Sydney to talk about the West Invest fund - which offers funding for infrastructure and jobs in the area.

"(Saturday) is a very important election," he said.

"It is only the Liberals and Nationals with the long-term economic plan to keep NSW moving forward. To build the infrastructure the schools, the hospitals, the metros and motorways that make a real difference to people's lives."

Perrottet spruiked policies like the $250 energy rebate, the Opal cap of $40, the cashless pokies machine reform and the kids' future fund offering a nest egg of $49,000 based on government and parent contributions.

He claims to have travelled right around the state to tell voters what a Liberal government will offer.

"We are not taking any vote for granted," he said.

Perrottet is hoping he can secure a fourth term for the Liberals and Nationals, while Minns is focused on trying to end the drought for Labor.
