Pippa Middleton — sister of Kate, Duchess of Cambridge — reportedly pregnant with second child
Pippa Middleton — the younger sister of Kate, Duchess of Cambridge — is reportedly pregnant with her second child.
Middleton and husband James Matthews are reportedly “thrilled” with the news, according to New York Post’s Page Six.
The new baby will join the couple’s 2-year-old son Arthur as a cousin to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
“Pippa and James are thrilled, it’s fantastic news amid a difficult year. The entire family is delighted,” a source told Page Six.
The 37-year-old became a household name when she almost stole the show as Kate’s Maid of Honour in her wedding to Prince William in 2011.
Although Pippa’s children will not technically be born into the royal family, the news follows announcements two royal babies are on the way next year.
Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank revealed they are expecting their first child in early 2021.
The couple made the announcement in a tweet posted on the Royal Family’s official Twitter account in September.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021,” the tweet said.
“The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”
The Queen’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall — who is Princess Anne’s only daughter — is also expecting her third child.
Her husband Mike — who has two daughters, Mia and Lena, with Zara — revealed their was a “third Tindall on its way” just last week.
Zara, 39, and Mike have been married since 2011.
