Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews are battling a major fire in a multi-level building at Surry Hills, near the Sydney CBD. The blaze has engulfed seven floors of the building, and firefighters are working to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring buildings.
Residents in the area have been evacuated, and nearby streets have been closed off to allow emergency services to work safely. The cause of the fire is not yet known, and investigations are ongoing.
