Urrbrae three-car crash in Adelaide leaves two women dead
Two women in their 50s have died in a three-car crash in Adelaide.
South Australian police were called to the intersection of Cross and Fullarton Roads, in the suburb of Urrbrae at 1.40pm on Saturday.
Two female passengers aged 53 and 55 died at the scene, while three drivers were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 20-year-old male was behind the wheel of a Volkswagen, which witnesses said came hurtling down Cross Road at high speed.
They say it ploughed into the two other vehicles, a Holden SUV and BMW.
The impact was so severe it sent debris flying for hundreds of metres.
