Fiona McDonald was a popular Australia TV personality. In the 1980\'s she was the host of the game show \"Its A Knockout\" , \"Wombat\" and Look Who\'s Talking\" She was the younger sister Jackie McDonald who was also an Aussie Personality. In 2021 Fiona was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Speaking to the ABC TV \"Australian Story\" series in October 2023 in an episode titled The Big Lap - Fiona MacDonald, Ms MacDonald said the disease had taken her voice, leaving her unable to deliver her trademark witty one-liners and quick-fire banter that made her a natural on television.
