Geelong and Collingwood have renewed hostilities in more ways than one, with a feisty brawl capping a whirlwind opening quarter at the MCG on Friday night.

Central to the scuffle was Ollie Henry, who appeared to be targeted by some Collingwood players physically in what was Henry’s first match at his new club and first against his old side.

With some Collingwood players having a scuffle with Henry en route to their quarter-time huddle, Zach Tuohy began to remonstrate with the Pies, with the scuffle building and going on for some time.

“What about this for a quarter of footy? It had everything,” Melbourne champion Garry Lyon told Fox Footy.

“Ollie Henry was trying to get of the ground at the quarter-time siren and then it was on. Big Zach Tuohy said ‘don’t touch my man’ – and they got into each other, a jumper got ripped.

“It had a little bit of everything; 11 goals on the scoreboard, a little bit of biff, it was magnificent.”

Four-time premiership Hawk Jordan Lewis added: “I love that someone came in and flew the flag for Ollie Henry … I love what Zach Tuohy did.”
