The 17 Best Black Friday Deals of 2022: Here’s What AD’s Editors Are Shopping

The holiday season can be overwhelming for so many reasons, but shopping the best Black Friday deals of 2022 shouldn’t be one of them. That’s why we’re here rounding up all the Black Friday sales we’re personally most excited about, sorted by category for your viewing pleasure. We’ve been keeping tabs on furniture, mattresses, and every vacuum you can imagine, as well as curated lists from major retailers like Target and Amazon too. We highly encourage taking your time–we’re just getting started with the holiday gifts after all–and searching for the lowest prices. Plus, if last year is any indication, we’ll see even bigger deals leading up to the shopping event, so we’re updating this list from now through Cyber Monday with the Best Black Friday Deals 2022 has on deck.

Appliances & Electronics

We’ve got our eyes on lots of Target items this shopping season (you can also peruse some of the Best Target Black Friday Deals here). A few standouts we’d definitely check out include the retailer’s selection of robot vacuums, like the iRobot Roomba or anything Dyson, kitchen appliances like this 10-in-1 Ninja air fryer, and great deals on designer furniture from their collabs with Justina Blakeney and Studio McGee.

You already know that anything smart-home and Alexa-operated is going to be on sale at Amazon. We rounded up 23 of the best early Amazon Black Friday deals that’ve piqued our interest just a few days ago, but the JBL Go 3: Portable Speaker with Bluetooth is on the top of our list (and will also make a great holiday gift). It’s also $20 off, which is hard to beat.

Everyone’s favorite fire pit maker, Solo Stove, is currently offering their lowest prices of the year, sitewide, with up to 45% off from now through December 4. Snag a portable, smokeless fire pit like the Ranger (also one of our favorite gifts for men that won’t disappoint) for $120 off, or try something smaller, like their tabletop version.

Walmart has deals on all things electronics right now: Whether you’re looking for a new smart TV, a laptop, or a pair of earbuds, they’re your one-stop shop for all things personal tech in-store and online, if you’re holiday-shopping from home. They’re also adding new deals daily as part of their Deals for Days campaign (PS members get access to low prices seven hours earlier than the general public).

If you’re planning on spending a lot of time at home this winter (same!), might we suggest a Samsung Frame TV (currently $500 off and an AD favorite)? You can also pick up clutch holiday gifts like Sony noise-cancelling headphones ($82 off) or, perhaps for your favorite student, a brand new Chromebook ($50 off).

As you’re looking for the best price on all sorts of high quality tech products, don’t forget to check out what the Google store has going on. You’ll find deals on anything from a mesh wi-fi system to home security products, Chromecast for smart TVs and more.

Kitchen & Dining

One of the holiday sales we’re most excited about comes from the team at Material. We particularly love their knives, dishware, and cutting boards, all of which are 20% off right now. There are lots of amazing Black Friday deals to score this year, but we’d use this shopping holiday to take advantage of Fly By Jing’s Black Friday sale (they’re calling it the Blackout sale, which sounds about right). Furniture & Decor

Nordstrom is truly an all-in-one kind of retailer. Designer shoes? Check. Kitchen appliances? You bet. Nonstick pans? Stuff for your pet? High-end linens? It’s all there. Their holiday deals went live last week and includes it all—like this colorful cast-iron skillet from Le Creuset—a perfect holiday gift for the foodie in your life. Their deals run through November 29, and more will be added as Black Friday approaches.

Leave it to the Wayfair-owned super brand to mark down thousands upon thousands of items you can use to outfit your home—and this is all before they officially kick off Black Friday. During this Early Access event, even some lovely faux Christmas trees are on sale right now to get you in the spirit.

If you want classic well-made furniture at a reasonable price, Castlery should definitely be at the top of your list of furniture stores. It certainly tops ours! We especially love their sofas and media consoles, and right now, the direct-to-consumer brand is offering up to 40% off select styles.
