‘Hard to describe how bad that is’: Legends rip ‘garbage’ Broncos

It didn’t even take the full match for the criticism to begin, with fans bemoaning the punishment inflicted on Brisbane in the first stanza.

One lamented: “This is just awful football. Players scoring untouched, dumb penalties, dumb errors, dumb challenges. Embarrassing!”

The Broncos have had bad halves this season but this is the worst. At least when they got smashed by the Roosters/Eels it was great teams at their best.

Another labelled the performance ‘abject’ and ‘soulless’. They questioned: “How much more humiliation can the #Broncos endure? An abject 48-0 loss to the rampant #Tigers at Leichhardt in a yet another soulless performance putting the heat squarely on coach Anthony Seibold.

“Nine tries against a side with no pride, attitude or heart.”

While plenty of commentators were sticking the boot into the Broncos, credit was due to the Tigers who put up a strong performance.

48-0 v the Broncos at Leichhardt ... that’s one of our best wins. Ever.

Proud.
