UFC star Conor McGregor proposes to girlfriend Dee Devlin after 13-year romance

UFC star Conor McGregor has popped the question to his longtime love.

McGregor’s partner Dee Devlin said “yes!” to the iconic fighter, after the pair started dating a decade ago.

The pair share two children together — three-year-old Conor Junior and one year old Croia.

The Irishman and former UFC champion shared the news with his nearly 37 million Instagram followers yesterday, writing “what a birthday, my future wife.”

Devlin is celebrating her birthday and Conor surprised her with his proposal as part of the festivities.

Devlin’s hand is now being weighed down by a whopping cushion-cut diamond the pair flashed in McGregor’s happy snap.

“Every day since I started in this game, she’s supported me,” the 32-year-old told VIP magazine in 2013.

“She’d drive me to the gym, and she’d listen to all my dreams. I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for her.”

The pair started dating in 2007 when they met in a nightclub and Devlin has supported McGregor since before he became a UFC star.

Meanwhile, it was recently claimed that McGregor is among the favourites to enter the ‘I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!’ jungle.

The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight and lightweight champion is a popular choice for this year’s series of the ITV reality show, and punters have been backing the star with the bookies’ odds reducing from 50/1 to just 8/1.

And in a video posted last week, Conor showed he was ready for the jungle by snacking on dead bees.

In the clip, Conor spilled a jar of dead bees onto his chest and could be heard asking: “Are you sure they’re not wasps? Wasps are no good, just bees. You can see the honey coming out the back of them ... oh my Lord, what the f*** is this?”
