RCB vs LSG: Patidar's Big-Match Hundred in Super Giants' Poor Record
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Eliminator saw the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) clinch a 14-run win against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The difference between the two sides was Rajat Patidar, who played a match-winning knock of 101 runs off 62 balls. His innings helped the RCB move onto the Qualifier 2 against the Delhi Capitals.
LSG captain KL Rahul praised Patidar's performance after the match and said, “The difference between the two teams was obviously Rajat Patidar playing such an innings.” Despite the RCB's victory in the eliminator, the Super Giants have had a poor record against playoff sides. This season, they have only managed to win one game out of five against the top-four teams.
